Is there such thing as skin bleaching?

I mean I have vitiligo and I heard michael jackson also had that but did he use bleaching to even it out or is that just a myth? is there really such thing?

He did something. I know he claims to have a skin disease but I don't believe him. He also claims he only had one surgery on his nose for medical purposes.
Reply:Vitiglio is a condition in which the immune system attacks and destroys the melanocytes (pigment producing) cells of the skin.

I don't know if Michael Jackson had it, though I highly doubt it since his skin toneis so even - I suspect he uses a Rx strengh bleaching cream - everywhere.

"Bleaching" done by interrupting the enzyme process in which the body converts the amino tryosine into melanin (the pigment)....the drug that does this is hydroquinione. It is found in prescription and over the counter strengh creams.

The results are temporary - they only last as long as you use the cream - and they take quite awhile to start working.
Reply:there is a such thing as skin bleaching. people get it done 4 a few different reasons. 4 age spots, uneven skin tone, freckles, melasma, sundamage, acne marks,Discolorations, old scars, and hyperpigmentation. michael jackson took it a little too far.
