Does Palmer Cocoa Butter cause skin bleaching?

Does palmers Cocoa butter have any ingredients that cause skin lightening. How does it work ie, reduces stretch marks, dark marks. Is it safe to use on children?

Does Palmer Cocoa Butter cause skin bleaching?
Ask Michael Jackson(but not the last part of the question!!)
Reply:hi i have been using this product for ages and love it, i it don't think it causes skin bleaching but couldn't be sure,it does make stretch marks appear lighter but i use it more as a moisturiser which it is excellent for,and i have used it on all my children aged 5-11 and 1 has eczema as do i and we have been fine with it.but i would check with your doctor just in case.
Reply:Cocoa butter has been around for centurys, and is used by supermodels and actresses aswell as us everyday folk.I dont believe it has any skin lightening properties, and ive used it for years!Like vitamin e, it contains nourishing ingrediants and may help with stretch marks im not sure.I imagine it would be safe to use on children as its very pure and gentle.good luck
Reply:It doesnt cause bleaching its just a fantastic anti cellulite cream and is safe for children to use.A great skin care product,God I sound like an advert.
Reply:Palmers Cocoa Butter is pure cocoa butter, which is a natural product. It does not cause skin lightening, and is safe to use on children. It works by moisturising the skin, essentially.

  1. I saw an ad at pregnancy.org saying that there is a class action suit against Palmers regarding their cocoa butter. I believe the site they have the info in is palmerssettlement.com. Please be informed - you might be affected.
