first of all, why would you use bleaching cream if you are white already? Second, wash your face, that might get the dirt off.

Reply:Probably you should consider going to a dematologist and getting checked for melanoma. If you told me "purple" I might think it could be Lupus. In any case, get it checked out. You are not too young for skin cancer.

I am normally medium toned with a lot of red tones, so i get like redder and dark to in the summer. It used to bother me, but realize that im still really look the same, and you are beautiful no matter what shade of brown you are (or are not).

so basically i say just i guess stay out of the sun and wear an spf of at least 30. and just wait for the season change...im sure you look fine the way you are.

The skin and scalp should not be washed to hard.

A gentle shampoo before you bleach the hair helps the scalp not to get blisters or burn upon application.

Again, if a protective creme is applied around the hair line and neck line, and the bleach does not swell and touch other parts of the face, no problems.

Do not scratch head or skin if this happens, only makes is worse.

Most hairdressers keep something on hand for this.

Make sure you give your skin time to calm down after you go for a waxing. Don't get it done right before going to a party or anything! Reply:In terms of facial hair removal, either is fine. If your hair is fine then I'd go with the bleach because you don't have to deal with hair regrowth and you can easily do it yourself at home. Make sure to do a test patch first on the inside of your arm and don't leave on for longer than recommended. A good one is Jolen (at any pharmacy). Waxing is safe also but can be more tricky- I'd recommend having someone who knows what they're doing wax it for you- at a salon or spa. If you do want to do it yourself, practice on your leg or arm first to make sure the temperature %26amp; consistency is just right- you don't wnat to burn your face or rip your skin off along with the hair (this can happen if the wax is too hot).

You can buy them anywhere. They are also referred to fading creams. The main ingredient in these creams is on the back label. It is the bleaching element. Made sure it is not over 2%. If so, you are looking at skin irritation and possible damage. Good luck!

Ambi is a good product to try. They have soaps and lotions that seem to even out skin tones.
Reply:Many products like lotions can help. I know Jergens lotion, even the kind that will add a little color to your skin, works best. Scrubs will wash away your dead skin, usually revealing a more even tone than the dead surface skin cells on your body. But the lotion will also help and be more immediate in affect than the scrub, which is more of a long term thing. Good luck!

Bleaching the hair on your skin other than those "unmentionables" is perfectly safe when using the proper product.

Now, to answer your question... the bleach, in my experience, will cause a slight discoloration to the skin. By slight, I mean it was barely noticeable on my skin. However, every body is different. I would suggest applying the bleach to a test patch area that no one will see and see how if affects your body.

I've had good luck with Sally Hansen - Creme Hair Bleach. Get the pre-mixed packages if they're available.

Reply:michael did not bleach his skin.he has a disease called vitiligo which destroyes pigmentation of skin and he uses make up to cover the other parts.his skin got 80 percent white due to the disease so he had to use make up.

For a long time (before they found out that too much tanning might cause skin cancer) getting tanned showed that you had a lot of free time (no work to do), or could go to sunny places, implying you have the money to do so. In short: a tanned skin means you are rich. A few centuries ago it was just the opposite: people (especially women) tried to keep their skin as white as possible, they stayed out of the sun, wore veils or parasols to evade tanning. At that time it sort of proved they did not have to work outside, and must have a rich husband or a lot of money: they could stay inside and be lazy.

In many places for a long time the white race was the dominant race (in power, that is), they were the ruling class. That meant for people with dark skins they wanted to look like the "upper class", and therefore tried to look as "white" as they could.

These "mental images" of what is powerful, rich or "upper class" still linger on.. and of course parts of it still are true in some places. And of course, "fashion" plays into these mental images: they advertise with creams and self-tanners to make you feel you could look "better".

In short, both questions can be answered by "they want to look rich, powerful, belonging to the "upper class" people in their society".

Ok, i know lots of people would say stuff like be happy in your own skin, but this is actually common.

Whitening products i strongly suggest rather than using bleach. So, just drop the whole bleach idea altogether. There are a variety of whitening products out there, especially if you go to Asian shops, you will find heaps of whitening creams, soap, lotions, cleansers and the list is endless! Im not sure how effective they are, but i too have used whitening soaps....but hadnt really noticed any changes.

If you really want to become lighter...try simple things like staying out of the sun, along with the whitening products. You might be like some people where there tan fades over winter times.

A spray-on tan is the same type of thing, similar, just done with something darker rather than lighter than your normal skin color. You might be allergic to the bleach, so I would suggest testing it on a small patch of skin that no one will see. As long as you read the directions on the box and follow them carefully, you shouldn't have a problem. Good luck!
Reply:I would get my facial hair bleached by a proffesional only because if you do it the wrong way you can harm your skin and cause scarring. Waxing is an option but it will remove the top layer of the facial skin which can later cause sagyness and there will always be that chance of burning.

What you can also do is get your facial hair threaded wich is a like getting the hair tweezed but instead of one by one it would be one large area of hair being removed then the other. Some salons offer it. It irratates the skin the least out of all the facial hair removing methods. Sugaring is also another facial hair removal option( natural wax which removes nothing more than the dead layer of skin cells)

I gave you some other options but you would be sage with getting your facial hair bleached only if it is done by a proffesional.

You can use Nair for the face that will get rid of the unwanted dark hair, it makes your face smooth and is less of a nightmare than wax and bleaching.

Also, bleaching only hides the hair, doesn't remove it. Nothing worst than looking like a furry peach in the sun.

u cud mix milk wid lemon juice also mixture of lime juice, glycerine and milk cream is a well known home bleach. It also helps remove pimple scars, sun burn and smoothen cracked soles. lime juice with salt could be rubbed mildly for a bleaching effect.

Lime or lemon juice, turmeric, honey, etc are natural bleach. They remove tan and make your skin fairer. (Note that lemon juice is more effective than lime juice for getting fair complexion). Cucumber juice can be applied on dry as well as oily skin to get fair complexion. To make cucumber juice, grate (kaddukash) cucumber (with skin) and squeeze it. Only 1/2 to 1 teaspoon is sufficient for a single application.

Drink 10 glasses of water daily. Try the following pastes, mixtures or scrubs, if done daily, you will see a difference in about 10 days. These fair complexion remedies are also good for small babies.

Reply:Exfoliate (face scrubs) to reveal more even, smooth and new skin cells. You can also use products specifically for brighter, whiter skin such as Shiseido's UV and White Lucent line.

Another great thing I've found is Alpha Hydroxy Acids. AHA is amazing. It exfoliates from deep under (while exfoliating only does so on the top layer of skin) under the skin to reveal newer skin which in turn makes your skin look younger, brighter and with less wrinkles, lines and whatnot. Use about 8% and gradually use a higher percentage. Once you stop using AHA, your skin reverts back to what it was before. I suggest AHA souffle.

I think you are not different than I lot of other people who's body will be fair but with wearing shorts and tops it is more exposed to the sun and will be darker than the rest that is hidden somewhat. It maybe unhealthy that you are not applying sun protection and are at a risk to skin cancers etc and would be best to wear cover up during the hotter times of the day. If it an appearance issue that you are "two toned 'then you may want to spend a bit more time outdoors in swim wear etc during the safer times of the day to even up your colour

Don't bleach your skin. Bleach is very caustic and will eat through your skin. Oxyclean is not much better for your skin either. If you really want your skin to be lighter, I would suggest an appointment with a Dermatologist, who can reccommend a safer alternative.

A friend of mine is planning to move to Moscow, but he is worried because, well, he's brown, and we all know how thriving racism is there. He said he plans to bleach his skin permanently, so that no one would have to treat him like "faeces," so to speak. And he said he wouldn't have to face racism at all nor get the "FOB" treatment (he was born here in Canada).

I've read stories on people who's lives have changed, gotten better treatment and more respect, just after they bleached their skin.

i need something strong and that works. last month glue was thrown on my face and my face broke out everywhere. i scrubed my face with an exfoliator everyday and it was pretty painful and my face was red(that was pretty stupid) and like a week later my face was extremely dark. i thought it were clear up but it didnt and a month later it still looks the same. i really need yaw help because school opens up in one month.

A few friends of mine have used a mixture of lemon with either honey or cucumber juice, not only is this great for scars but it also lightens your complexion...I know you might want something that has faster results but if you use this everyday you should start to see results after only a few weeks. If you have oily skin, use the lemon and cucumber juice mixture...squeeze same amount of juice and cucumber juice then leave on face for 15 min then wash off. When you squeeze the cucumber slices make sure the peel is still on it so you can get the juices from the peel too. If you have dry skin then use the lemon and honey mixture and also leave on for 15 mins then wash off. If you feel discomfort with this then just try using the cucumber juice by itself without the lemon juice which might be too irritating for your skin. Good luck.

Not sure about the percentages but you can buy bleaching creams in the drugstore. I would say that the doctor would have to prescribe the bleaching cream with the higher dosage of hydroquinone cream if that is what you want.

I think you mean concha nacar. In Mexico and other countries they use it to help fade dark spots and to have an even skin tone. I have the soap, and it helped me with my dark spots, but what helped me a lot was wearing a good sunscreen. glycerine is used in skin whitening products, as well as lemon juice and salicylic acid (it's an exfoliator). It takes about a month to see results.

Most bleaching products contain hydroquinone, but watch out because it is said that causes cancer, and it should only be used under a doctor's supervision and in small quantities.

Reply:Assuming you don't mean mixing it up in your own kitchen... The best fairly inexpensive method is using a hydroquinone cream with at least 4%. I would suggest using a 10% hydroquinone cream though for better results layered with some sort of exfoliating cream like a AHAs or Retin. Stay out of the sun and use lots of sunscreen (20 or higher) for the when you do go outside. I would not suggest using it for a long time and I would suggest going in for a free consultation with a dermatologist. If your skin discoloration is from melasma then you would want to for a cosmelan treatment instead the hydoquinone method.

Squeeze lemon juice in milk. let it stand for 5 minutes. gently rub onto your skin. let it dry. wash off with water. do not apply soap for 1 hr.

also works nicely for freckles. it generally does sting a bit when you rub so no worries. if the area becomes red(which is not likely cuz the ingredients are all harmless) wash with water.

Advise:

There are different ways to get from one shade to another. I understand the hyperpigmented area and most people of ethnicity have few products that help us out. There is ambi creme which is the most common skin lightner/bleach you can get. I do not recomment bleach. Skin lightening cremes, spot faders, and vanishing cream are all good products to use. To answer your question, i feel the best way to blend your natural skin and fade the scar out is using a creme from AVON. Don't worry i dont sell AVON just happen to know its a great product, so get if from anyone you know (friend, church lady, flea market, etc) This creme is called "banishing creme" and has results in one week. I recommend using it at night to sleep and use cocoa butter or vitamin E cremes in daytime. As for any strong skin products, avoid sun as it will lead to more discoloration and possible worse. THe product is listed below.

Well some women (can be of any culture, but mostly women of Asian cultures) prefer fair skin because they think its nice, clean, and bright. But for Asian cultures, fair skin equals higher class. (Dark skin means they have to work outdoors like on farms or whatever, hard labor.) Personally, I have fair-medium toned skin and i like it like that. I don't want a dark, tanned face. I'm not into the whole tanning fad.

BTW Asian women don't want white skin to be like White American girls. It goes back to history of Geishas and the whole social status of Asian cultures.

However, many people nowadays are bleaching their skin. Why do they want do that? Is fairer skin really more appealing than darker skin?

Actually many beauticians and doctors advise us that by eating healthily, exercising and using body cream rich in Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and Collagen Elastin will produce more fascinating effects than applying mere bleaching creams.

Bleaching Basics:

The good news for treating blotchy skin discoloration is that regardless of the cause; be it due to old acne, bug bites, skin trauma, underarm irritation, sun damage (such as freckles, “liver spots) or hormonal reasons (melasma); your bleaching basics remain the same.

I was born in a rural village in Kerala, India and lived there until I was about eight or nine years old. I had made many friends there and we got along very well. My dad was working in Kerala so that's why my family had lived there. Both my parents are Indian, but have more of a Kashmiri/Middle Eastern background. I have light brown hair, pale skin, green eyes. We recently moved back to Kerala and now my friends keep accusing me of bleaching my skin. They keep asking me what creams I use. They also say that I wear contacts and dye my hair. They also told some other girls that I actually have black hair and black eyes, and have "darker" skin that everyone in the village. (which is ridiculous because when i was little I had blond hair and blue eyes). In front of me, they act nice, but other times they're always spreaing rumors. They also keep calling my by a different name: KAURWAKI. THe keep telling me: "too fair for your own good" What is wrong and why are they calling me Kaurwaki?

They succeeded at changing Indian names into Eurocentric ones, placed their diet and their ways onto the peoples of India. Even in the U.S., women of color, Indian to African, Hispanic to Japanese, the standards of beauty are mainly Eurocentric (light eyes and straight and light hair, and the such). Even in my African-American culture, the lighter-skinned girls are always the preferred over darker-skinned girls. Personally, I have do not straighten my hair or bleach my dark skin; I love who I am as an African-American woman. Indian women are some of the most beautiful women in the world, but just as darker African women, there are few examples that reflect this (movies, singers, etc.) We must be examples for ourselves; colonization make it a bit harder. Although British superiority is gone, the mental effects are painfully there.

If you want to lighten them without discoloring your skin then use lemon juice. There are 2 ways to do it, sometimes I do both. First, cut a lemon in half and rub the inside of the lemon in some sugar. Then scrub your face with the lemon/sugar. Or wash your face and then squeeze some lemon juice in a glass and apply to your face with a cotton ball. It will tighten up your skin and lighten age spots.

I've never heard of skin bleaching but most acne products bleach your face to get rid of scars. So I guess it would be to help get rid of any blemishes you have.

It does whiten the skin, I don't think it's permanent though, probably lasts only about a month or less, long enough for new skin cells to recycle the old bleached ones.

ya it does........but it is one of the biggest BS out there. Why would u want to do that? It kills off your layer of skin, thus exposing you to more ultraviolet rays, thus harming your skin=quick aging and possible skin cancer.

Love the skin your in and yourself and the universe will take care of the rest.
